Event-Driven

Unlike other photo sharing websites, we have specifically designed ShutterYou to be event-driven. For each event registered on ShutterYou, we assign a unique event code allowing your guests easy access to your event page.

We've learned that by creating separate events, it is easier (and more fun!) for you to document, manage, and organize each special event in your life.

The great part of an event-driven photo sharing site is that you are no longer scouring through hundreds of photos to find the ones you need. They're all organized in one place with minimal effort on your part!

Unique Privacy Settings

With ShutterYou you control the content of your event page.

At ShutterYou, we know your time is valuable. This is why we make it easy for you to manage the privacy of each photo within your event. For every photo you post you are given the option to make it public (You World), private (You) or event members only (You VIP).

Not only can you manage the privacy settings of each photo you post, you can also easily manage this when your guests post photos to your event page as well. Before your guests photos are posted to your site, you will have the ability to approve the photo and select the privacy setting or reject the photo and not post it at all.

Not all photo sharing websites allow for this kind of control. At ShutterYou, we want you to be the boss and feel comfortable with all the photos and content being displayed on your event page.

No Need to Register

Unlike other photo sharing websites, ShutterYou doesn't make you register in order to share or view photos from an event you partook in. Sometimes you just don't want to go through the registration process and we recognize that.

We give ShutterGuests the opportunity to use the unique event code to view the event page, comment on photos, and even add some pictures of their own without becoming a member.

Membership Benefits

For our users who choose to register, more options are available. One special "member-only" option is the ability to create and manage your own events. ShutterMembers are also encouraged to become friends with one another. When you're a friend, you can easily view friends' event information without having to remember their unique event code.

Photo Swag

If there are specific prints you love, you can simply order photo reprints in a variety of sizes. You also have the option to order photo swag including t-shirts, coffee mugs, hats and posters for you to remember your special occasion! Take a look to see which options you like best!
